My name is Anna Maria Karl . I live in Sweden . Last year , when I filled 18 years , my father gave me a present which was a journey to any place I want , and he would take care about the expenses . I choosed NewYork because my childhood friend lives there and I want to see her . So I want to tell you about my journey to NewYork .
Last year , I decided to go to NewYork with my friends . We were 5 persones . We had a lot of money . we were very excited because it was the first time we would see NewYork in real . We decided to be there for 10 days . First of all we went to book places in the airplane . But there weren't any places for us . So the journey was postponeded . So we went after 4 days for booking places , and we hoped if there were vacancy . Fortunatly , there were 5 places for us , we booked it quickly . It was the promised day . And we had preapered every thing for the journey . After that we got the plane to NewYork .We arrived there at 11 oclock at the morning . As you know , the time between Sweden and America is different . In the airport , my friend was waiting for us . We got a car to a deluxer hotel which called The Plaza . It was very amazing . The hotel has alot of rooms , swimming pools and kitchens also . We spent our first day in the hotel.
The second day , we visited many places . One of these places was the Madame Tusaauds museum . It was very nice and small . Then we ate lunch in Sofrito restaurant which had Carribbeans food , Italians food , Americans food and Spanish food .
After that , we went back to the hotel and we had break . At the night , we watched film with eating popcorn .
The third day , we visited my friend's family and we spent all the day with them .
The fourth day , we decided to go shopping in the Time Warner Center and bought new clothes . We had shopping with 1000 dollars . It was really really amazing .
At the night we attended a concert in the hotel , it was beautifull . We took many photos and we danced alot . And we met many people from Thailand , Japan , South Africa , ... .
The fifth day , we visited Statue of liberty , and we took alot of souvenir photos .
After that we ate in Smith & Wollensky restaurant which had Americans food and seafood . And it was the first time I ate seafood , it was digusting .
Then we walked together and spoke about memories .
After that we went back to the hotel and we were very tired . I spoke with my family and I told them about the journey .
As you know NewYork city has more than 2 000 arts and cultural organizations and more than 5 00 art galleries of all sizes . So the sixth day we visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art . There were alot of things in the museum such as : Egyptian art , Asian art , European paintings , Islamic art , Greek and Roman art and arts of Africa.
There were Mummy statue , Hunting Knife Combined with Wheellock and Ugolino and his sons .
It was really amazing museum . At the night my friend invited us to her birthday at home . So I had bought a present for her . It was beautifull day .
The seventh day , we went to swimming and we ate pizza , humburgers , hotdogs and cola . We spent all the day there .
After that , we went back to the hotel and we had break . At the night , we watched film with eating popcorn .

The day after , we went to Central park which is an urban park in the central part of the Borough of Manhattan , NewYork City .
We spent alot of funny time there .
We played volleyball , Bowling , Skating and tennis .
The day after , we went to China Town it was very beautifull . When you go to china town , you feel like you are really in China . I bought alot of chinees things which are nice .
The ninth day and the last day , we went shopping again for buying presents for our families and friends .
When we finished shopping we ate dilicious icecream and after that we had lunch in Le Cirque restaurant which has dilicious French food .
At the night , we spent our time at playing X-Box together .
The tenth day , we let our friend and lovely NewYork and got the plane to Sweden .
In the way to Sweden , we were speaking about this amazing journey which we had alot of nice and funny time together .
We spent alot of funny time there .
We played volleyball , Bowling , Skating and tennis .
The day after , we went to China Town it was very beautifull . When you go to china town , you feel like you are really in China . I bought alot of chinees things which are nice .
The ninth day and the last day , we went shopping again for buying presents for our families and friends .

The tenth day , we let our friend and lovely NewYork and got the plane to Sweden .
In the way to Sweden , we were speaking about this amazing journey which we had alot of nice and funny time together .
We arrived to Sweden at 5 clock in the afternoon .
I said to my friends bye and thanked them for the amazing time I had with them .
So this was my unforgoten journey .
